DC Alumni Founders' Day Reception

The DC-PT Alumni Group’s celebrated Founder’s Day on May 8th, with a spring afternoon barbeque in Georgetown. BBQ sandwiches, soft drinks, wine and beer were provided by the school, and alumni brought their own sides. The afternoon party lasted until 8 or 9 in the evening, with PT Alum Rachel Braun winning the Founder’s Day trivia contest over John Thornburgh (prize being a coffee table book about the school). We sat on a beautiful garden patio and really got to know each other—nothing better than lounging around on a Sunday afternoon. Interesting note: PT Alum Chris Stoughton is running for the Maryland House of Delegates. His website is stoughtonformaryland.com, and you can become his friend on Facebook. The alumni here can’t wait to lend a hand on his campaign.
